And...we're done!

We've sent out the last of the nomination notifications.

If you haven't received a notification and believe you should have, please contact us.

All responses must be in by February 1st. That's two weeks from today. In a weeks time we'll send out a reminder to anyone that hasn't responded. As of February 1st, if you haven't responded, we will assume that you do not wish to be included in this year's awards and your nominations will be deleted from the final nomination list.

Over the course of the next couple weeks and a bit we will be compiling everyone's responses. The final nomination list will be posted once the list has been compiled and double checked to make sure all stories and art are in the correct categories. If the awards team disagrees with where you have placed your nomination, you will be contacted.

Update

No, we haven't finished sending out the notifications yet but I wanted to give you all an update. We started from Z and worked backward and have I-Z finished. If you fall in between I-Z and have not receieved a notification and you think you SHOULD have, please let us know.

A-H, we're still working on. Seeing as its Christmas & New Years, nothing is getting done over the holidays but we will get back to it once the holidays are over.

Answering your survey:

Most of the people that were sent the notification have responded, however there are still quite a few authors/artists that have not. We will, once we have finished A-H, send out ONE reminder to all the people who have not responded and that is it. If after the reminder they still do not fill out the survey we will assume that they do not wish to be included in the awards. Due to real life issues for both myself and Smuffster the awards are taking much longer this year than in previous years, however, we will not put the awards on hold even longer to wait for an author/artist to fill out the very quick and simple survey accepting or rejecting their nominations and placing them in the proper categories.

And once again, PLEASE look over your survey BEFORE you hit submit to make sure that all your nominations are in the proper categories. We've received many emails from people that realized they made a mistake on placing their nominations after they sent in the survey. So PLEASE double check that everything is where it should be and that you only have ONE nomination in EACH category (TWO if you're an artist).

Nomination Notifications!

Just to let everyone know, nomination notifications have started getting sent out as of today. They should all be out, hopefully, by the end of the week. You'll be given a link in your email to take you to a survey where you need to either accept or decline your nominations as well as place them in the proper categories. PLEASE read the rules before doing either of these things. Namely, the rule that if you choose a category for your piece that we, the team, absolutely disagree with, it WILL be moved. You will be told of the move and given the option of accepting it or removing the nomination from the awards. If you disagree with this rule and do not want to abide by it, please do not email us attempting to change our minds. There are only two options here - accept the rules or decline the nominations.

We have NOT finished emailing out the notifications yet, so please don't worry if you haven't gotten a notice of nomination yet and you think you really should have. We will post here and to our livejournal community once we have finished sending out all the notices.
